As an android enthusiast and developer, I know that using a task killer such as mobo can be helpful I'm some cases, I STRONGLY recommend not to get this app. Using a task killer will both a, kill unneeded services that are eating up ram (very good) and b, it will kill necessary services that allow android to run properly. If you install this app you will see that you are constantly having to reboot your device so once again, DO NOT GET MOBO TASK KIlLER PRO

It works fine as far as downgrade is concerned but the battery runs only upon charging, drains off immediately on unplugging the charger.... Help needed urgently.

after downgrading my gt-i9100 to 2.3.6 and trying to call it goes in flight mode(no network). Any solution? pls help!!

Two months back i upgrade my s2 from 2.3.6 to 4.0.3, everything works very well but i noticed portable hotspot is not working and battery is getting consumed a lot.
1) I have gone through the above post. I downloaded the ROM which you have mentioned from the link.
I9100XXKL1_I9100OXAKL1_OXA this contains the below:-
CODE_I9100XXKL1_CL783870_REV02_eng_mid_ship.tar.md5
GT-I9100-CSC-MULTI-OXAKL1.tar.md5
MODEM_I9100XXKL1_REV_02_CL1085162.tar.md5

2) In your post you have mentioned - You click on the box and select the PDA .tar file of the ROM you downloaded (Android 2.3.6 OXAJVU) and leave it well.

Can you please tell me from the above 4 four files which one should i select in the PDA.tar....

Please reply me on krishnamoorthy.lalith@gmail .com urgently as i need to perform the activity.

Don't upgrade ICS if you like how fast your Galaxy S2 is. I've tried it for about 2 months now. I couldn't use for my business. ICS SLOWS DOWN GALAXY!!!

Worked like a charm.
Finally a good tutorial to make my phone work again.I hate 4.0.3, it made my phone reboot the whole time...
Hopefully my phone will go back to the good old working device it was.

You can also backup your contacts in your SD card by hitting the Import/Export option in Contacts, and choosing Export to SD card to save all the contacts in one single vcf format file. Should you need to upload your contacts list to the same phone (in case of a crash) or a new android device, simply hit the Import/Export option once again and select Import from SD Card

I did the upgrade but the screen freezes suddenly a hundred times a day with the message "unfortunately,the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" .. Solve that if you can !
